Thanks for this succinct and informative article.

Let’s hope Europe rises to the moment. Unlike the US population, which didn’t suffer attack on its territory, the memory of WW2 is still embedded in the psyche of Europeans. I pray that they understand the stakes and make the rights decisions. Keir Starmer may not be a great performer, but he is a decent, serious and intelligent man.

Here’s a hypothetical question!

If Europe puts the squeeze on Russia, Putin will put the squeeze on Trump!

How can our democracy hold Trump accountable for treason Trump supports our enemy in time of war?

Would the Congress have to declare war first on Russia?

Mr. Bremmer- Putin’s birthday is October 7th. Many reports say he funded Hamas through crypto. Russia is allied with Iran. Has anyone pushed on President Trump to reconcile his friendliness with Putin and Putin’s role in October 7th? I mean the Bucha massacres and October 7th look like they are from the same playbook.

Writing was on the wall since 1987….For some strange reason media, all elected officials CHOSE to/CHOOSE to put their heads in the sand & PRETEND NOT TO DEFINITELY KNOW if what they see is what they see.

That’s what got us here today.

Cognitive Dissonance of the Privileged!

As for immediate solutions Ukraine needs to take the European cash and start hiring mercenaries. Someone will step forward and start a free market mercenary training program. The world is flush with young men seeking a way to support themselves and a family.

As for long term a US pivot to a Russian alliance can work to stop China's aims for Taiwan and the South Pacific. As well as drawing Russia away from Eastern europe.

A mystery is why Trump favors Putin, who has a puny economy and in general Russians are not cool. There had been rumors that Putin has a video of Trump misbehaving in Moscow and could this be the reason?

I’m a super-fan of GZERO, which I stream on PBS. My favorite part, though, is Puppet Regime. Why not post Puppet Regime videos on Substack? It’s just the right audience…
